Students are supported and guided through their work by study programmes that help them to bridge the gap between work at GCSE and A-levels. Independent learning, including use of our on-line virtual learning environment will be an important component in this course. Students will learn study skills and use study guides to work on their own. Knowledge and understanding of each topic will be assessed internally by regular written tests. You will be taught in the modern and well equipped science labs and classrooms all of which have state of the art computers and data- projectors/smart boards. Practical work will be carried out regularly as part of each topic which will contribute to a practical endorsement in addition to your A or AS level. In addition to timetabled lessons, students will be supported through extra flexible learning sessions targeted to individual needs, at appropriate stages of learning.
