This course is made up of 4 units studied over two years: Year 12 unit 1: This involves a practical and screen examination which allows students to demonstrate their knowledge of the fundamental principles of the subject: Focus on programming through problem solving. Unit 2 The focus of this unit hard and soft ware aspects of computing as well as its social and economic consequences. Year 13 Unit 3: Focus on computational thinking and what can be computed, programming and problem solving. Unit 4: Course work unit: Completion of a report on programme solutions.
