Students will be learning about particle physics, astrophysics, radioactivity, mechanics, electricity, quantum phenomena, waves and fields.
The formal assessment will be in three examinations at the end of the second year. Practical work will be kept in a folder and consist of several core practicals, the content of which will be examined in the exam papers. Practical skills will be assessed for competency and certificated separately
