This qualification will prepare you for junior and entry level accounting roles. It delivers a solid foundation in finance administration - covering areas such as double entry bookkeeping to basic costing principles and using accounting software.GCSE C or above in Maths and English. Students with previous accountancy or finance experience may sit an online skillcheck at www.aatskillcheck.org/ to enable them to decide whether to start at Level 2 Foundation Certificate or Level 3 Advanced Diploma.All applicants are assessed at interview to ensure correct level of study.Students should enjoy working with figures and be literate and numerate.If you are under 19 at the start of the course you will need to be in full time employment or study.
