Apprenticeships consist of different qualifications, each of which recognises the achievement of a specific set of skills, enhanced knowledge or level of attainment in a particular subject area. The Apprenticeship includes a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance, Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT. Apprentices also develop qualities and skills needed for success in learning and life in Employee Rights & Responsibilities and Personal Learning & Thinking Skills. Suitable job roles for this Apprenticeship include, Supporting, motivating and challenging pupils who are underachieving, supporting pupils who do not have English as their first language, supporting pupils to overcome social and emotional problems and leading a team and identifying opportunities for training and development.
