This is an applied vocational course which is a fully accredited qualification. Everyone taking this qualification will study four mandatory units, covering the following content areas:
ƒ?› the travel and tourism industry ƒ?? developing the skills needed to examine, interpret and analyses a variety of statistics that measure the importance of tourism to the UK
ƒ?› different types of destinations and their importance ƒ?? investigating the features and appeal of global destination
ƒ?› how tourism is an ever-changing industry which has to adapt quickly to external pressures and changes in society at the national and global scale
