This qualification will provide specialist knowledge and skills in Textiles which will be achieved by completing 3 units at Subsidiary Diploma level (Year 13).
This qualification could lead on to studying Fashion or Textile Design in Higher Education or specialising further in Theatre/Costume design. It could also lead to an apprenticeship due to gaining solid relevant practical skills such as use of techniques, machinery and fabric knowledge.

Students study another two mandatory units ?Materials, Techniques and Processes in Art and Design? plus a selection of other units.
