This award is an essential introductory qualification for anyone wanting to teach. It is designed to give the knowledge and confidence to teach in the post 16 education sector. This could be as a trainer in the private training industry or as a teacher/lecturer in further education. It is the direct replacement for Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) and is now available at Level 3. We normally run two courses per academic year, one starting in October and one starting in April.
