The opportunities for students of Biology on completion of full time education are vast. There are many possible careers within the scientific world and qualifications in Science subjects are acceptable as an entry in many other careers. Past students have left the course to follow these career paths: Medicine, Forensic Science, Pharmacy, Medical Science, Biomechanical Engineering, Research, Nursing, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences. The Science courses offered at Walsall Academy are designed to provide academic and vocational experiences. They will prepare students for their choice of career in both the world of work and Higher Education.

Module 2 ƒ?? Foundations in Biology
Module 3 ƒ?? Exchange and transport
Module 4 ƒ?? Biodiversity, evolution and disease
Module 5 ƒ?? Communication, homeostasis and energy
Module 6 ƒ?? Genetics, evolution and ecosystems
The practical qualification is either a pass or fail based upon 12 in class assessments and will be provided separate to the overall exam grade.
