Content is split into six teaching modules:-

Module 1- Development of practical skills in biology
Module 2 ƒ?? Foundations in biology
Module 3- Exchange and transport
Module 4- Biodiversity, evolution and disease
Module 5- Communication, homeostasis and energy
Module 6 Genetics, evolution and ecosystems
If you sit the AS level examination in y12, you will sit two papers:-

Paper 1- Breadth in biology

Paper 2- Depth in biology

Both of these papers will assess content from modules 1-4

If you sit the A level examinations in y13, you will sit three papers:-

Paper 1- Biological principles (This paper will assess content from modules 1, 2, 3 and 5)

Paper 2- Biological diversity (This paper will assess content from modules 1, 2, 4 and 6)

Paper 3- Unified biology (This paper will assess content from all modules (1-6))

Your practical record book will also be assessed this year
