Students will gain a deeper understanding of the living world by analysing the fundamental concepts of science. They will be guided to become independent thinkers and gain the skills to apply their knowledge in a range of different situations.
Practical activities are embedded within the learning outcomes of the course, further enhancing learners understanding of biological theory and developing a practical skillset. Practical endorsement is awarded to those pupils who attain high levels of practical competency which is looked upon favourably by universities and employers.
