This course is for young people aged 16 who have the enthusiasm to continue with their learning and require help and support to achieve their potential. The course enables learners to develop important vocational skills, including practical and theory-based sessions in cooking, hospitality, horticulture and conservation. In addition, mandatory units of health and safety, travel and PSD are also delivered.

Class sizes are small and support is available both inside and out of sessions as appropriate. The programme also offers the opportunity to develop Maths and English skills at a level suitable to the individual. All learners will participate in an enterprise work readiness programme.
