This course examines all aspects of sport - sports development, sports injuries, fitness, the social context of leisure and recreation, high performance sport, and many other aspects of the sport, leisure or fitness industry.
The new specification starting in September 2016 consists of 3 externally assessed units and 12 internally assessed units over the course of 2 years.
Each internal assignment will have an overall grade awarded of a pass, merit or distinction. The overall points will be calculated on the total points achieved from internally assessed units combined with the grade points from the external assessments.
