If you want to put your passion for helping others into a career, this applied learning alternative to traditional A levels could be for you. It will give you an introduction to the health and social care sector and is particularly suited to you if you enjoy a combination of classroom theory and practical learning that's related to the world of work. Equivalent to 1.5 A levels, it combines particularly well with A level subjects such as Sociology, Psychology or Biology. It's suitable for anyone aspiring to work in professions such as nursing, midwifery, social work or residential care.
