This Apprenticeship is the hospitality industry's professional qualification for all staff who work in a support role.

This ranges from Kitchen Porters and Catering Assistants in the kitchen, to Catering Assistants in the kitchen, to conference and banqueting or events
porters, hospital and hotel porters, and general assistants in small hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfasts.

The NVQ competency units cover a variety of topics ranging from working with customers, specialist cleaning, co-ordinating events or carrying out minor repairs.

This qualification allows you to learn, develop and practice the skills required for a job and career progression in the hospitality and facilities sector.

This qualification is suitable for those already in employment in the hotel and catering industry as well as those wishing to enter this sector.
