This is delivered over a 5 week period with the learner attending 3 days per week for 5 hours which would be worked around school and term time. As well as the course content we also deliver skills to access employment and IAG to make the learner aware of the different paths that they can take in care.
This course is specifically for the learner to commence into employment in the care environment and upon completion of this award they will already have achieved one aim of their Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care which they will need to complete once in employment.
we are aware that the apprenticeships are changing and this award also maps into the new apprenticeship standards.
In line with this it will cut down dramatically on the work that the learner will have to complete once in the work setting.
We are also able to after completion of this course advance the learners onto their apprenticeship ensuring that their training and tutor is consistent which will help them to achieve their goals.
