Working in the construction industry is a job for those with dependability, strength and intelligence. The Level 3 Construction and the Built Environment Study Programme teaches you a range of valuable skills to give you a broad understanding of the industry as a whole. These include health and safety, computer aided drafting, building regulations, building surveying, science and materials, sustainable construction, and project management. Work experience in the construction industry gives you hands-on practical knowledge of the industry both on site and in the office, as well as boosting your employability with skills demanded from local employers. This course is an excellent first step in your career into the construction industry. You can extend your knowledge by progressing onto the HNC/D in Construction Management at Hull College or elsewhere.
