This course provides the skills and underpinning knowledge you need to become recognised as a bricklayer. You will gain practical experience in our fully equipped professional workshops. As well as bricklaying, you will learn about arches and openings, various types of walling and all aspects of building.

Areas you will study will include:
-Storage of materials and equipment.
-Erect and dismantle basic working platforms.
-Working efficiently.
-Brick and block work walling.
-Set out basic buildings.
-Construct walling detail.
-Signalling for the movement of loads.
-Carry out maintenance to non-structural carpentry work.
