The Digital Media Design course incorporates lens based media, video and sound editing SFX software, designing moving graphics, animation in both 2D and 3D, creating and developing digital material for web sites, web apps and social media platforms as well as designing for computer games. This course will equip you with the essential traditional skills necessary for a successful career in a number of creative industries: Idea generation and concept development, story writing and storyboarding; building and growing your imaginative thinking. Also technical skills: Adobe Photoshop; Illustrator; Animate; After Effects; Audition; Premier Pro and In Design. After successfully completing the course you will be ready to progress onto an Apprenticeship, Foundation Diploma, B.A. or Foundation Degree in a creative media subject or employment within a number of creative industries. Employment opportunities within this sector are wide and varied and could see you working in the games industry as a character or concept designer; working in advertising, becoming an animator, digital graphic designer, digital video editor, or web content designer.
