This qualification is for people who want to work in administrative support roles in public or private sector organisations, or people who want to improve their administrative and supervisory skills. These roles include: Secretary, Receptionist, Administrator, Personal Assistant. It was developed in association with the Council for Administration (Skills CfA). The level 2 Diploma consists of 6 Mandatory units totalling 21 credits and a further 24 credits from the list of optional units.

Business and Administration Apprenticeships provide learners with skills needed to progress in a business support role. Areas covered include administration, communication, providing reception services, IT skills and some specialist areas.
