More course information

You will initially develop a series of quick timed studies focusing on speed and intuitive responses to a subject. You will then be encouraged to use these sketches to develop a painting in oil or acrylic. There will be useful demonstrations and discussion of techniques that will help you gain confidence in using your materials and may encourage you to join a longer course in order to develop further. There will be a review of work through group discussion and one to one support. The overall aim is to not only complete a finished painting, but to have fun, achieve personal expression and learn more about how to develop your sketches. This could act as an extension to other painting courses attended or as a one off workshop
