If you're looking for a career in engineering, the Level 3 Engineering Study Programme gives you a solid foundation on which to start your journey. Covering practical and theoretical concepts that you'll need to know, this programme is a general engineering programme with a focus on mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering to give you a good grounding. You'll study machining techniques, design and draughting, engineering Science and Maths. Alongside the programme you will gain valuable work experience in the engineering industry and boost your employability skills for the sector. The equivalent of three A-levels; on completion of the course you can have the UCAS points to move into higher education. From here you can go on to study HNC/D Engineering, FdSc Engineering Technology, or a BEng (Hons) Engineering Technology, to become an engineering technician, maintenance technician, design draughtsperson, or project engineer.
