The GCSE English course offers students another chance to obtain a GCSE grade C qualification in English that is widely required by employers and an essential part of the matriculation requirements for higher education. It is also an entry requirement for many AS-level and Level 3 vocational courses at IC6 and elsewhere.

Please note, however, that the entrance requirement at IC6 for most AS-level courses is a grade B in both GCSE English and GCSE English Literature.
