This is an exciting new development at this level, allowing students with learning difficulties, no formal qualifications or maybe those who need to build their confident, to experience a broad range vocational topics that will help you make an informed next step. Over the duration of the course you will explore 6 different vocational areas on a termly rotation (3 in the first year and 3 in the second year) which include: Business and ICT, Health and Social Care; Art and Design; Sport and Public Services; Performing Arts and Media; Travel, Tourism and Hospitality. The modular approach to this qualification means that there are opportunities to join the course at 3 points during the academic year, not just the traditional September start. In addition to the vocational areas of study you will also be working to improve your English and maths skills at a level appropriate to your ability. While on the course you will not only benefit from subject specialist tutors who are experts in their field but also from the highly trained additional learning support embedded within each class to ensure that you reach your full potential; whether that be study at a higher level, employment or independent living.
