They will decide if you can do an ESOL course and if you have to pay fees. You should bring with you any of the following: a) Evidence of receipt of benefits (where applicable) e.g. JSA, ESA (Employment Support Allowance within work related activity group) b) E.U. Workers' State Registration. c) Evidence of residency status e.g. passport, E.U. ID card, ILR, ELR, ELC, Humanitarian Protection, marriage or working Visa, IND or Arc Card from Home Office. If it is possible to do an ESOL class you will be invited for an assessment so that we can offer you the right level. Overseas students, European Students who are not living in the UK on a permanent basis, short-term visitors or those on visitors, au-pair or student visas wishing to study English should apply for EFL not ESOL.
