This course will help you learn the basic skills and techniques to use in the kitchen and help you learn new recipes and dishes to cook.This course offers you the chance to cook food with fresh ingredients, increasing your health and well being.Sessions may include:Cooking with pastaChopping, slicing and grating techniquesSimple saucesUsing eggsStaying safe in the kitchenDuring the course you will cook starters, mains and desserts, but will have a chance to discuss the content of recipes and dishes.This course is a great place to meet new people whilst learning new cooking skills in a relaxed environment.Meat dishes will be included in this course although vegetarian alternatives will be available.This course is subsidised by Government funding so you should aim to attend the whole course.
