Course content:
There are several taught elements surrounding Religious Studies to give students a secure basis on which to begin their EPQ. This includes
ƒ?› Principles of Catholic Social Teaching
ƒ?› The Sanctity of Human Life
ƒ?› Eastern Religions
ƒ?› Abrahamic Religions

Students are also taught about research skills ahead of their project by their supervisors as well as from outside speakers. This includes:
ƒ?› Referencing
ƒ?› Note making
ƒ?› Active and effective reading
ƒ?› Essay Structure
ƒ?› Presentation preparation
For the project itself, each student chooses their own focus. It should reflect an area of interest
which they have which connects with the other subjects they are studying and their future
career choice. It should also link with R.E.
