Mindfulness is a way for us to become more aware of our thoughts and feelings so that we are better able to cope when we are feeling stressed or anxious.During this course you will explore simple breathing and relaxation techniques.This course is participative and includes information giving, demonstration, discussion and working together. You will need to be prepared to take an active part in the sessions and to challenge some of your thoughts and beliefs. It offers an avenue for creative pursuits, improving your health and wellbeing. The friendly classroom environment is a great place for social interaction and helping you meet new people.This course is subsidised by Government funding so you should aim to attend the whole course.
