Chinese New Year is the Chinese festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional Chinese calendar. The festival is usually referred to as the Spring Festival in mainland China. In this fun and friendly group you will create a personalised lamp for use at home or as the perfect gift for someone special.Topics will include:Design and finding the right shapeCreating patterns and silhouettesChoosing & installing the right lighting kitUsing colour and paper effectivelyThis course will encourage you to increase your confidence and ability to make informed choices about personal and professional issues, helping to reduce social occlusion and isolation. This course is subsidised by Government funding so you should aim to attend the whole course.
