This one-year course is aimed at learners who do not hold a Level 2 Gym Instructing qualification but wish to enter the sports and leisure sector as a personal trainer. The initial aim of this qualification is to train you to a professionally competent level, enabling you to prescribe, plan and deliver safe and effective exercise programmes within a gym or health club environment. The qualification progresses competency, with the aim of developing your existing knowledge and skills in gym instruction in preparation for pursuing a career in personal training. We have a fantastic gym facility with 65 stations and the opportunity to be part of the internship programme to gain work experience while you train, making you more employable.
