During this two-year course, you will study two authentic French language resources (a text and a film) and will study aspects of the contemporary societies, cultural backgrounds and heritages of French-speaking countries. You will also have opportunities to develop your understanding and awareness of spiritual, moral, ethical, environmental, health and political issues.
You will extend and develop your knowledge of the grammar and vocabulary of French and will use this to speak, write, read and listen to the language.
In addition, you will also be able to equip yourself with transferable skills such as autonomy, resourcefulness, creativity, critical thinking, and linguistic, cultural and cognitive flexibility that will enable you to proceed to further study or to employment.
