Geography is one of the most exciting, adventurous and valuable subjects to study today. So many of the worlds current problems boil down to geography and need the geographers of the future to help us understand them. (Michael Palin, RGS). Geography A Level provides an awareness of the constantly changing world. Geography surrounds us on a daily basis and is the centre of what is happening in our world. The study of geography at A level builds on the skills established during GCSE Geography. It enables students to engage critically with real world issues and places, applying geographical knowledge, understanding and skills to make sense of the world around them. An A Level in geography is recognised for its academic robustness and, most importantly, it also helps young people into the world of work.
