This Level 3 qualification follows on from the skills achieved at Level 2 and is aimed at the more experienced glass warehouse operative. A further in depth knowledge of the materials and ancillaries used is required as well as an understanding of stock control, stock rotation and stock quarantine methods is required. There is also a need to be able to identify the environmental impact of stock and waste material that can be caused by the warehouse and its activites. The level 3 operative will also be expected to control the work in the warehouse, organising other staff and feeding back to shift managers and supervisors alike. Good people skills are essential as well as a good head for numbers.
