It is a varied and interesting course which allows you to explore and learn about health and social care and the principles that underpin effective care in our society. You will build up a variety of skills and technical knowledge. It gives you the opportunity to develop a broad base of understanding of the health and social care sector. If completed successfully, the course will give you an A Level equivalent qualification which can count as UCAS points towards entry for higher education or you may choose to go into relevant care services in the health and social care sector and gain further qualifications there.
