History is an ideal subject for those students looking to study history at university or looking for an easy based component to supplement their other A Levels. An A level in history gives you both knowledge and skills that are prized by universities for a wide variety of courses. A History degree itself can lead to a wide variety of careers from academic research to more diverse careers such as journalism, politics, law and public service. The course is based around to two units that are examined in both Year 12 and Year 13, with students who carry on to Year 13 completing the full A Level. For each unit (with the exception of the coursework unit) students will sit exam each year.

Unit 2 ƒ?? Germany 1918-45 ƒ?? Focussing on the Weimar Republic and the Rise of the Nazis Party up till 1933.
