This is a vocational qualification that will prepare students for a huge range of careers. Students will develop a common core of IT knowledge and study areas such as the relationship between hardware and software that form IT systems, managing and processing data to support business and using IT to communicate and share information through social media for example. Students will also study computational thinking skills and the principles of designing and developing websites. They study a wide range of IT skills from understanding basic computer systems to understanding how businesses use social media.
