The Cambridge Technicals Certificate in IT is a vocational course, so you are assessed on skills that are transferable to the workplace as well as higher education. These skills could be developed in areas such as Virtual and Augmented Reality, Application Design, Data Analysis and Design or Computer Networks. The Cambridge Technicals Information Technology units allow students to learn and be assessed in ways that are practical and relevant to the IT sector. The syllabus includes units which help students to develop a range of knowledge required by employers. This covers skills that could help develop organisational/customer systems, using IT as a tool to analyse data, or develop applications. This will help students to not only prepare for possible employment but higher education and/or apprenticeships.
