The course is aimed at learners who have completed Improver level courses and are looking for their next challenge. The course contains a diverse variety of music to suit most playing styles and tastes (strumming/fingerpicking/thumb picking). It will include songs using various strumming patterns. This term may include Reggae, Ballads, Rock and Pop, Nostalgia and an interesting mix of Seasonal songs/tunes in the lead up to the festive season. We may incorporate showmanship skills (rolls) into the strumming patterns of songs where appropriate. Technical skills will be covered as required. Class ensemble playing is a requirement of the course.
