his Level 1 course is particularly suitable if you are leaving school and want a more practical engineering course before entering employment or going on to further training. You will spend a great deal of time in the College's well-equipped workshops and classrooms, and will gain an excellent foundation in electrical installations.
The study programme consists of a number of compulsory and important elements:
Level 1 Diploma in Electrical Installation (7202)
Functional Skills/GCSE - Mathematics and English at an appropriate level
Work Experience
This will give you the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to understand the principles of electrical installations through carrying out practice work in our fully-equipped workshops.

Environmental and sustainability measures in domestic dwellings
