This programme is aimed at learners looking to start a career in the animal care industry. There are lectures, talks from guest speakers, visits, practical sessions in the Animal Unit and work related experience. Students' work is assessed continually throughout the course. Students studying at our York Campus have the choice of two pathways; Companion Animal or Zoo Animal. Students at York will study this course in our new Animal Management Facility and Wildlife Conservation Park. These facilities home a range of animals including reptiles, amphibians, mammals, birds, fish and invertebrates
