For those adults who would like to pursue professional training or a degree course but have limited academic qualifications the Access to Health Care Professions is the perfect choice.This one-year full-time course includes the academic subjects and study skills for the completion of the diploma and for entry to a higher level of study. The curriculum prepares students for careers in midwifery nursing speech therapy ODP occupational therapy physiotherapy and other related health professions.The Access to Health Care Professions course also provides for the progression into professional education and training at university level. Students have a choice of studies that include reproduction psychology as a science cell biology inheritance and genetic engineering as well as independent study skills.
