More course information

The GCSE Maths course offers students another chance to obtain a GCSE grade C qualification in Maths that is widely required by employers and an essential part of the matriculation requirements for higher education. It is also an entry requirement for many AS-level and Level 3 vocational courses at IC6 and elsewhere.

Students will undertake the higher tier exam in which grades D-A* are awarded.

As the main focus of this course is to allow pupils to achieve a C grade its content will primarily be D and C grade maths. There will be an expectation that all students will carry out a considerable amount of work at home through set homework tasks and general revision.
