English and Maths qualifications are an important stepping stone if you want to get a job, change career or continue studying. If you are interested in these courses, you will need to attend one of our assessment dates. **For upcoming assessment dates and to book your place, please click 'Course Description' below.** At our King's Lynn and Wisbech campuses, we offer courses on an one evening a week basis to help you gain qualifications which may be required in your working life.

We offer both GCSE and Functional Skills (Level 1 & 2) qualifications and you are invited to book an assessment below to help determine the most appropriate course for you.

## Dash to GCSE Programme

If you already have a good working knowledge of English or maths, our new Dash to GCSE courses can fast track you to your qualification. These courses demand commitment from you in terms of time each week, but you are rewards with your GCSE in a fraction of the usual study period. **Please note that you will need to achieve a great score in your assessment to be considered for the Dash to GCSE programme.**

## What are functional skills courses?

Our functional skills courses are to build confidence to help improve your English and/or Maths and provide essential knowledge, skills and understanding. The skills taught will help you participate and process in education, training and employment.

## Assessment and How to Apply

If you are interested in starting an English or Maths programme with us, you will need to attend an assessment slot for to determine the most appropriate course for you. This assessment is short and computer-based and, at the end of the session, you will know the outcome of your assessment and what course you are to be enrolled on. **Assessment dates will be confirmed closer to the start of the programme**.

## Fee information

These courses will be free if you have not already achieved a grade 4 (C) or above in your chosen subject.
