Learners on Sense College's Aspire Programme will develop the fundamental communication and functional sensory skills to interact with others and indicate their choice in order to exercise greater independence in everyday situations. Learners will gain the skills to access and process key information in order to participate in their social and physical environment. Learners on Sense College's Take Off Programme will develop the skills to live as independently as possible in the home and community. They will develop their knowledge and understanding of the wider world to make informed choice about their adult life and active citizenship. Learners will progress towards accredited Entry Level study, work based learning and community volunteering opportunities as well as developing the skills and techniques to sustain own health and wellbeing.
