Running a business that sells alcohol - and looking to upskill your staff?A Personal Licence is a legal requirement for anyone who authorises the sale of alcohol to the public.If you're new to the industry and will be supervising the sale of alcohol in any premises - or thinking about changing the terms of your business to include the sale of alcohol - you'll need to complete a Personal Licence Holders Level 2 Award before applying for the licence.This qualification is aimed at anyone who wants to work in licensed premises where alcohol is sold.You will discover the personal licence holder's responsibilities while developing your knowledge and understanding of licensing authorities and areas such as police powers, rights of entry, strengths of alcoholic drinks, the responsible retail of alcohol, and how to protect children from harm.On completion of the course you can apply for a Personal Licence and authorise the sale of alcohol to the public.
