The A Level Physics course is a two year course covering a breadth of Physics as outlined below. Alongside learning the theory and developing problem solving skills there is also a lot of practical work embedded into the A Level Physics course including 16 core practical experiments. Completing all 16 core practical experiments and through them demonstrating the required practical skills leads to students gaining a practical endorsement at the end of Year 13 alongside their A Level in Physics. One of the A Level exams will then pick up on these core practical experiments and assess students understanding of them.
