What does the course involve?

The 1 year AS course content is split into 4 teaching modules:

Module 1 ƒ?? Development of Practical Skills in Physics
Module 2 ƒ?? Foundation in Physics
Module 3 ƒ?? Forces and Motion
Module 4 ƒ?? Electrons, Waves and Photons

The A Level 2 year course requires a further 2 units of study, these are:

MODULE 5: Newtonian World and Astrophysics
MODULE 6: Particle and Medical Physics

Students should be prepared for plenty of demanding numerate work, but also be prepared to enter enthusiastically into practical work, as well as all assigned homework. The course will be demanding but very worthwhile.
