If you would like to develop your personal skills working as part of a team within your local community then this is the course for you. The course will include outdoor pursuits, work placement opportunities and a residential leading towards a final presentation of your achievements. Through building your confidence and motivation, you will be encouraged to think about your future. This includes working in a team to prepare a post-programme development plan and spending time developing interview and CV skills. We want you to develop your confidence ready for taking your next step. -During the 12 weeks team members: -Uncover hidden talents -Assume some responsibility for tasks -Develop team-working and communication skills -Gain awareness of their local community and how they can contribute to it -Complete voluntary work to give something back to your community -Undertake a range of fundraising activities to benefit an organisation in your community -Gain a nationally recognised qualification -Gain employability skills by completing a range of challenges in the community
