The opportunities for students of Psychology, when they have completed a degree programme are enormous and a wide range of career choices are available. The Psychology AGCE course enables students to acquire a basis for further study and employment. It aims to encourage an experimental approach to Psychology linked to theoretical developments and to give an understanding of the methodologies of Science. Students are expected to develop the ability to collect, present and interpret experimental and empirical data. The course promotes an appreciation of the way in which Psychology may be applied to solve problems.
