This qualification is for those who are employed, or are working voluntarily, in schools as teaching assistants and have experience of directly supporting the teaching and learning of pupils.Candidates must have a good standard of English and maths as this is what schools expect for the job role. You must also have secured a school placement of at least six hours.All prospective students will be invited to attend a briefing session with the course tutors. At this briefing you will be given further information about the content of the course and you will complete an English and maths assessment. Once you have enrolled, you will complete a diagnostic review to help us identify the support you may require. Please continue with your application through this website.
